Not only do her ancestors hale from Scandinavia where mythical creatures abound, but her formative years were filled with drawings and thoughts of wee creatures. After years of watercolor art depicting florals and children, which she loves, she has given in to the wee creatures' taunting and is currently illustrating a mischievously charming series of gnomes.
