Expression's of Sheep Food

Briggette Blalock is an artist who lives and works in San Leandro, California. She is a sensitive fine realist painter. Her paintings are exploiting nature and African American themes within her paintings. She started out using paintings in her artwork that featured women requesting prayer. Her expertise is sketching with pencil and painting using acrylic paints and using some Graphic design on her computer. The top seven artists that she loves are Vincent Van Gough-his beautiful thick brushstrokes inspired her mind to look for the beginning and end, Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne, Henry Matisse-the famous images of twists and turns all blended in so smoothly, and Michelangelo-the famous art sculptor, painter. She loves how the styles the famous artists expressed the realism in the twentieth century’s renaissance. Briggette was inspired by art when she was a young child, at the age of six years old she first discovered she loved to color in coloring books late at night. Then later on in her life, she decided to enroll in her neighborhood community college to learn and study art. She participated in art shows, and she sold a couple of her artwork. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from South University, and she earned a graduate certificate from Art Instruction Schools. Briggette Blalock hopes to use her artwork to inspire solidarity in individuals, and she hopes to use her creativity featured in fine art galleries.
