I am based in Ashland, Oregon, USA. Ashland is located in Southern Oregon near such iconic locations as Mt. Shasta, Redwoods National Park as well as Crater Lake National Park. As an avid photographer, I am blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world in my backyard. The mountains and plateaus of western United States offer splendid vistas with every turn. In the traditionally short spring, the land comes to life with beautiful wildflowers and renewed growth. Summer provides an ever changing pallet of subjects. The colors of fall are quickly replaced by the winter snows. I utilize both digital and film based cameras. All image processing and printing takes place in the digital darkroom. This allows me to fully fine-tune each digital file or high quality film scan for optimum print quality. The resulting digital files can be gigabytes in size. The digital darkroom allows for contrast enhancement, color, brightness and saturation tuning which result in outstanding fine art prints.
