The mission of Buddhism.net is to enlighten humanity, by making the teachings of the Buddha accessible to everyone in the world, with early Buddhism at the core. Goals: 1. To make the profound teachings of the Buddha, especially early Buddhism, understandable, accessible and practicable to at least one billion people. 2. To help at least one million people arrive at stream-entry, the first of four stages of enlightenment. 3. To bring everybody together.
