Chris' Oceanic Cards

Hello! My name is Christopher Wade. I was born and raised in the panhandle of Florida. I have been drawing, painting, and creating art since before I can remember. Growing up in Florida, I have been able to enjoy coastal activities like boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking. All of these activities have impacted my art in one way or another. As I grew older and had to choose a career, I chose construction management. As always, God had a plan for my life and I met my wife and best friend in this field. My wife helped me to rekindle my feelings of art and soon I was back to the drawing board, so to speak. Recently we relocated to Golden, CO and I found myself a stay at home parent with our two young daughters. I will call them Elsa and Anna since they both love “Frozen”. Somehow I have found time to launch a website while being covered with food stains and peanut butter and jelly kisses from my two little girls. As far as my art training, I do not have any formal education other than tips from mentors I have met along my path to becoming an artist. Of course my journey is still continuing with many more artistic feats to concur. I try to keep God at the center of my art work. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Roman 8:28 NIV). My artwork combines elements of sea life and Art Deco.
