Growing up I’ve always held the belief that who you spend your time with is essentially your family. Often it’s said that people tend to group with people who seem the most like them, when in reality, I believe it to be a result of their grouping that makes them similar. You may join a group because they seem interesting to you, and if you find that you enjoy their company you will continue to spend more time with them. It’s been proven time and again that human beings pick up traits from those around them, from a different outlook on life to different pronunciation of a word. Who you choose to surround yourself with matters, and it affects who you will become as a person.
