Creative Politics is a partnership between myself and my then teen-age, now collegiate son. It was created in the aftermath of the 2016 election out of a belief on our part that politics had gone horribly wrong. I consider myself a "radical centrist;" I've been developing online communities and other new media products for more than thirty years, and am convinced that there are ways forward for our country through a synthesis of the best liberal and conservative ideals, mediated and empowered by technology, which is far from reaching its potential, and that if we embark on a new nationalism that's true to our values, the whole world will benefit. My son is (well) to the left of me, but we both believe in restoring the joy of politics, and that we cannot face the challenges, or take advantage of the huge opportunities in front of us, unless we become the United States again. If someone in my industry asks what Creative Politics is, I call it the world's first community-based political incubator, all parts of the spectrum welcome. As you'll see, we *are* opposed to Donald Trump--we consider him fundamentally un-American--but we're hopeful that we'll be retiring those products soon.
