Artmaking has become a daily practice for me. I find great joy in exploring new mediums, techniques, textures and color palettes. I started putting my artwork on Instagram, with the hashtag #PlacesIGoArt since my artwork is largely inspired from places I've physically visited as well as the ebbs and flow of different emotions and reactions to the world around me. Whereas I used to find that putting things into words and getting them down on a page felt deeply satisfying, I found that writing became more difficult. I feel as if I had to get to writer's block before I could start to fill pages with images.
