Rosemaling is a form of Norwegian folk painting, traditionally done on wood - boxes, trunks, bowls, plates, walls, etc. There are a wide variety of styles of rosemaling, dependent on what region of Norway one is from. Personally, I have no Norwegian heritage, but a great love for the country, its people and its culture. My designs most closely resemble those from the Telemark area, however, the transition to other media forms is uniquely my own. I hope you enjoy the things I make.
