Hi! My name is Yorgos and I am a free lance illustrator living in Athens, Greece. This is my Zazzle store. Every product is based on my handmade artwork... Here are a few words about my illustrations. Anything from the real world may become a …secret gate for my land of fantasy. I might get inspired watching the transforming schemes of clouds, reading a book or just looking at the passengers. Talking to children is also a great source of inspiration! Their world is always the place of dreams… As an idea it is a bit blur at first and then it begins to get more and more clear and transparent in my mind... my work is created almost in the same way! First of all I begin with a rough layout of the picture….or rather many rough layouts! Although color is the most attractive part this first stage is the most creative one… When I am certain about the final layout and design of my characters I complete the picture in color. I have the chance to experiment a lot and build the characters of the story. Details on the character are very important as they will give personality and …soul to the picture… Every new project is a challenge for me. Drawing unique heroes and a whole new universe for them is a beautiful adventure. The amazing feeling of creating something new every day is making me happy and optimistic. This is my actual reward for being an artist.
