A collection of my cartoons and graphic art. Before the Internet, I spent years drawing in the dark. Now I can create these works and just put them out there for others' enjoyment. Art and the entire creative process can be a lonely occupation you're never really sure if what you're doing is worth the effort. And you're always working alone for the most part. Stuck away in a studio is a solidary experience. The reward comes when a purchase is made. Then you know something touched someone. Maybe a laugh, maybe a memory. When Carl Schultz of Peanuts fame was asked what if he never sold Peanuts to a syndicate what would he be doing he replied, exactly the same thing. Drawing Peanuts was something he HAD to do, for him it was more than a career it was the very air he breathed. I have to create these art pieces for good or bad. So I guess the reward is simply in the doing. A sale is an extra spice on the cake!
