Ellie & Clarence is a tiny shop in Index, Washington where we sell local arts and humble luxuries. The historic building was a garden shed located on the property of the Bush House Inn. With a new foundation, floor, insulation, lighting and a comfortable interior the building is now a year-around place to pick up a gift or local souvenir. We have many talented people in the valley who contribute to making our selection local and ever-changing with seasonal items. Our customers include locals, cabin owners, vacation rental guests, outdoor recreationists and road trippers who are exploring the back roads of Washington state only 50 miles from urban Seattle. Find us at 308 5th Street, Index, WA 98256. Saturday & Sunday 11am – 3pm. We’re tucked behind the Bush House Inn on 5th Street Ellie & Clarence is named for the couple who established the Bush House Inn 1898.
