Freelance Design since 2004! Hi and thanks for checking out Cafe Retro! We're so glad to have you stop by. I have worked as a graphic design instructor (and an award winning metal artist) for the last 14 years. In December of 2004 I had an epiphany ......"I wish I was creating art and not following a lesson plan everyday!"...and I've never looked back! That's how a freelance art career was created. My first design was a series of vintage Italian scooter illustrations which became popular and evolved into over 1000's of designs which have been purchased by customers worldwide (including TV and Movie Studios). I thought WOW, this just might work!! With a lot of patience, perseverance, effort and an incredible amount of time, my freelance career has taken off. Who'd have thought it eh?!? I have a passion for all things old/vintage/retro which is reflected in the designs I choose to work with. Plenty of old illustrations, vintage posters, advertisement ephemera and old photographs. Recently, I have found great satisfaction creating, restoring and sharing once forgotten works of art for future generations to enjoy.
