Incredible Me was set up by two parents of children whom attend the Longcross Resource Base. A school that educates primary aged children with severe and complex learning disabilities. Many of which are on the autism spectrum. Our merchandise is to show no matter how we see the world in all it's colours, we are all superhero's! We are both passionate about helping our parents negotiate the minefield that is raising a child with additional needs. We aim to ensure they have all of the resources available to them, delivered in a way that we can all make sense of! Our children need all the help they can get. Gemma and myself head up Incredible Me to facilitate in the raising of funds so desperately needed by the team at the Resource Base. Enabling them to provide the most positive environment for our children and their needs We set out to: 1) Offer information and family support 2) Develop play and leisure activities to facilitate life learning 3) Provide educational and sensory resources to allow How? 1) Enable parents to obtain the correct support to be able to wrap around the care at home. By offering free, independent and impartial information relating to educational, health and social care to parents and carers of children who attend Long Cross Resource Base, to empower them to make appropriate and informed choices. 2) Development of playgrounds and outdoor activities. Enable the children access to enriching physical activities. 3) Providing the correct resources within a child’s educational environment to allow them to reach their full potential.
