Centauri Abstracts by Shari

Shari's work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts anything in between. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues. Ever since she was a child, she has been fascinated by the theoretical limits of all Art. What starts out as vision soon becomes contemporaneously into a hegemony of wild abandonment, leaving only a sense of peace or chaos with the stroke of a pen and with the likelihood of a new reality. As wavering derivatives become clarified or distorted through diligent and critical practice, depending on my mood, the viewer is left with a new agenda of dream like thoughts or questions of our condition. Art should always be fun and experimental. Centauri Abstracts is an offshoot of my more traditional Art. It allows me to keep creating works of art, no matter what my body throws at me.
