I spent 17 years in Banking and 24 years in Real Estate. I recently retired to pursue my dream of being a Textile Designer and Surface Pattern Designer. When I was a young girl my grandmother who was an excellent seamstress. She would often take me to Kovaks Fabrics in Downtown Milwaukee. All the different types of fabrics, textures and colors awakened me. I loved looking at all the different patterns. Fabric Design is something I have wanted to do for a very long time and am so excited to be begin this journey. I am self taught. I started learning graphic design a few years ago and took online classes by Bonnie Christine. I am constantly learning and developing my style. While my designs lend themselves more towards Home Decor and apparel they are available in an array of applications.
