"I usually have a concept in mind when I start a project but sometimes it doesn't turn out anything like what I originally imagined. I use a lot of my own photography as a starting place. I enjoy capturing a glimpse of the world with my digital SLR. I also love experimenting with images, using digital brushes and filters, or combining multiple images into something new." Reoccurring themes include reflections on urban and rural environments portrayed through landscapes and architecture; contemplation of the beauty of nature and wildlife; and examinations of elegance in the ordinary.
