STAN'S MOM

I am the proud mother of Stanley, a 7 year old beagle-mix. Stanley joined our family after being thrown from a car and into a set of sample crates on a porch at a retail store. Starving at 19lbs (his normal weight is 40) he was also infested with flees and ticks, fighting a kidney infection and sporting a bloody slash across his nose. He also had very weak back legs that our vet felt was caused from being kept in a small cage his whole life. It is amazing how wonderful and happy he is now, 6 years later. He is loved by so many people as he has the most gentle and loving soul you could ever know. As we all know, his story of abuse and abandonment is way too common. Because of all the careless breeding that goes on, millions of pets die in shelters. This gallery is dedicated to those pets who have waited day after day to find someone to appreciate them and also to those who have been lucky enough to find their forever families. I also dedicate this to the people who spend most of their lives trying to help this cause. There are so many wonderful groups out there that are making all the difference. As I wear these shirts from my gallery and receive questions and comments, I like to think that we may have educated a few more people and positively affected a few more of the pets right now who need homes as well as the ones in the future.
