Pete Kersten Collection

I tend to look through the lens of a cartoonist when observing life. My work has been very influenced by every aspect of cartoon illustration from comics to Walt Disney cartoons. Since childhood I have had a keen interest in and the illustration of military costuming, historical aviation and the American Civil War. With my brother Rick, I co-own Kersten Brothers' Studios, a product licensing company. The company has been in business for over 40 years. Our designs have been published in at least 10 countries on many different products. We continue to create illustrations that hopefully bring a smile.
