KukiKiwi

My name is Shelley Boaza-Manuel and I am of Cook Island and NZ European descent and the Director of Kuki Kiwi. I would define myself as a line artist. The name Kuki Kiwi represents our identity as a people and artists and our designs/art reflect that as well as our experiences. Kuki is short for Kuki Airani (cook islander) and kiwi (new zealand) so put them together you got a kuki kiwi. We have always had an interest in the arts; and now we are in the process of putting our designs on various items to share with all who like. Our designs are more contemporary/abstract with flavours of pasifika and kiwiana patterns . Sometimes they are simple and clear, sometimes more complex and in detail. Our art can stem from an idea or we simply draw and see where it takes us....ENJOY!!!...meitaki ra
