概要
I was diagnosed with Lipedema several years ago, and at the time was told "nothing I can do" to make it better. There was no treatment. I listened, became very depressed and gained a lot of weight. Three years ago I stopped listenting to "nothing I can do" and started making changes for my health - which included very modified CrossFit workouts and eating Zone style. I lost 60lbs, and more than 30" off my legs (which was not supposed to be possible) - they tell me it is regular fat, that lipedema fat is not something you can diet/exercise away. But I now have my mobility back, and continue to keep fighting, to keep trying to stay as active as possible, as healthy as possible, to prevent advancing to later stages and losing my mobility again.
