I am a creative person by nature. My products present mostly my paintings. Since I was 13 I have been interested in painting. A quirky example is that I kepft a sketch book of different hair styles that ladies could have. Over a 200 different images.I won a drawing competition when I was a child, but was never really motivated to pursue it further. In 2012 after meeting up with a friend in a pub there was an activity where they asked people to take a blank canvas and draw whatever they wanted. I drew a horse, but in abstract colours, but life-like picture. I took it home to show my husband. Soon after for my birthday, my husband bought me a surprise gift of acrylics painting set. Since then I have not stopped. Recently, a friend who is also an artist saw some of my pictures and named my style as naive art. I was not necessarily trying for this style, but he has since advised me to keep it at in this way. My painting relaxes me and gives me the feeling that what I am doing is immortal and will never die. I have painted a range of themes from landscapes to, animals to objects. I have given many of my paintings away as gifts to friends and family. It is my passion, but my husband and friends are supporting me to make something more of my work. It is great to start from nothing and stop and pick up and explore my paintings at different points. It is never a chore, but a joy. In 2014 I illustrated the book No More Alone written by Maggie Aslanian.
