This isn't a story about my genius idea that made me rich- or about how I have the most successful business ever.... it's a story about the most important thing on Earth.... family. After working for a major corporation in management for years, something crazy happened. Chad's dad got cancer. He was terminal. I quit my job and our family moved to Arkansas to take care of him until he passed away. At the time, we were in our mid 20s. Although I never wish the loss of a loved one to cancer on anyone, the experience taught us a valuable lesson. Life is short. Too short to be spending your hours doing something you don't like. Then we had a crazy idea- WHAT IF we used our artistic skills so that I could work from home? It seemed like a ridiculous pipe dream, but it turned out to be possible. Thank you for helping us spend more time together as a family. The most precious thing we could ever ask for.
