Born and raised on the island of O‘ahu in Hawai‘i, I grew up with the love and appreciation of all things Hawaiian. From the beaches (Makai), to the mountains, I have always been in awe of the beauty I was surrounded in and from this colorful childhood I express it thru my various art forms. Whether it be thru watercolors, acrylic or oil paint or wood staining my style will always tie in with my tropical roots. In the end, this island girl married an island boy that joined the military, so now I find myself doing my art from all over the U.S. (currently Alaska). I have been truly blessed that there are so many like-minded people outside of Hawai‘i that appreciate my artwork and have been a wonderful inspiration for me to keep going. I even had a custom order all the way from Vienna, Austria! It's so humbling to think that a small-time artist such as myself could have artwork gracing someone's home half-way around the world!
