All Things Dutch Harbor and Unalaska Gift Shop

I came to Dutch Harbor, Alaska in 1987 to work in the fishing industry. I spent my first two years on the Bering Sea as a processor and then spent another five years working as a cook or cook/deckhand on various fishing vessels - crab boats, a few longliners, a trawler and a scallop boat. After my first seven years I quit the sea and settled on Unalaska Island to work at various land jobs. I am currently working on becoming a crazy old lady with a bunch of cats. So far, I have five house cats which actually live with me and a changing number of strays who stop at my house for the handouts. I also make crab boat calendars, at my original store online, Mistlebee Shutterbuggery in Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
