I created NeurodivergenTees to celebrate neurodiversity and challenge the stigma surrounding autism, ADHD, and all neurodivergencies - especially in adults. My journey began in midlife when I discovered I was neurodivergent. This revelation made me reevaluate my entire life through a new lens. I realized that many of my experiences and challenges were not personal failings but rather a result of navigating a world not designed for neurodivergent minds. As I learned more about autism and connected with the autistic community, I became increasingly aware of the widespread misunderstanding and stigma that autistic individuals face. Society often views autism as a disorder or something to be "cured," rather than a natural variation in human neurology. That's why I created NeurodivergenTees – to provide a platform for self-expression, empowerment, and advocacy. Each design is a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, and pride as an autistic individual. By wearing these tees, you're not only making a fashion statement but also spreading awareness and challenging stereotypes.
