Pacific Mountain Runners

We're lost runners who have found what makes us happy. We're informally religious about getting out and experiencing life in the mountains. We have found camaraderie in suffering and bagging peaks. We want to share the light we capture with as many people as possible. We have big dreams and big thighs. We are in love with the wild. And we're here to share its natural architecture with the civilized world. PMR started as a close-knit band of ultrarunners, trail runners and thru-hikers who get as much joy rambling through the mountains as we do racing in them. We're based in Southern California—from the Santa Monicas to the San Gabriels to the Sierras. But you can probably find us exploring wherever there's tasty singletrack, gnarly vert, breath-taking views and good friends.
