Catherine Pearson I live in Tucson, Arizona located in the Sonoran Desert in South Eastern Arizona. Tucson is blessed with beautiful desert scenery. and ringed by 4 mountain ranges — the Santa Catalinas, the Santa Ritas, the Tucson Mountains and the Rincons. In our short spring, the desert comes to life with beautiful wildflowers and renewed growth. The early summer months are hot and dry, the late Summer brings monsoonal rain and desert renewed growth. In the cool Winter, rains provides moisture for the beautiful Spring growth. In addition to images of Arizona, many of my images were taken in the years I lived in Northern California near the Sonoma Coast as well as travel to Utah. I shoot digitally and process my images in a digital darkroom. This allows me to fully fine-tune each image for contrast enhancement, color, brightness, saturation as well as for artistic rendering. I always strive to achieve optimum print quality and outstanding fine art prints as well as unique interpretations of nature and the landscape.
