Pimmit Hills Shop

The Pimmit Hills Shop promotes our favorite place to live -- Pimmit Hills in the Tysons Corner area of Virginia. Founded in 1950, it is one of the largest communities in Fairfax County with over 1,600 homes. Its original one-story "GI Bill-type" houses sitting on a quarter acre land each were built in the early 1950s amidst a peach orchard farm in what was then the country. Now sitting right next to the major growing metropolis of Tysons Corner, it is one of the most desirable locations in the DC area due to its quick access to major roads, Rt 66, Beltway, Rt 7, Rt 123, as well as the metro nearby. Back in the 1960s Pimmit HIlls homes sold for $15K but now the same houses sell for half a million only to be replaced by new large homes selling over a million dollars.
