When I was in middle school, I hated being called a nerd. I decided to dumb myself down to fit in with everyone else. I went from being an honor student to a C student. Boy, was I dumb! I create Pretty Smart Chics with that little naive girl in mind. I want to tell her it is ok to be smart and pretty. You don’t have to change who you are for people to like you. As an adult, I’ve learned people want to meet the real you. My line of notebooks and other stationery are a reflection of my true self. I rock afros, high puffs, wear glasses and love lipstick. I also love watching documentaries, traveling around the world, spending time with my family and being alone. These are the things that allow me to shine and bring my own brand of Joy to the world. I love the woman I've become. I love being around intelligent women. I have slew full of smart women in my corner. They range from CEOs to Stay At Home Moms. I’m proud to be in the company of Pretty Smart Chics.
