Prevent Cruelty CA

Prevent Cruelty California is a coalition of organizations working to place a critical measure on the November 2018 ballot to upgrade California’s laws relating to the extreme confinement of farm animals. It’s cruel and inhumane to lock animals in cages for their whole lives. Such confinement causes the animals to suffer and increases food safety risks. California consumers deserve protection from such inhumane and substandard products in the marketplace. It’s time for California to adopt cage-free standards just as other states and the food retail marketplace are already doing.
