Hello, my name is Alison , though I signed my artwork as Lisena, which was my childhood name. I have held many jobs, including airplane mechanic, truck, driver, commercial diver, administrative assistant, wife, and mother. Through it all I created, either painting on wood conks, carving stone, antler, or wood, working pyrography, playing with clay, or writing poems and short stories; creating has always been in my blood and the need to express that has always been paramount, in my life. I now live in Washington state and am creating daily, putting a small piece of myself into every thing I create. I'm truly grateful, and truly blessed, to be able to live amongst trees, mountains, rivers and lakes, as well as around people who are resourceful, hardworking and love nature as much as I do.
