Rickshaw Bagworks

Rickshaw Bagworks is a San Francisco-based manufacturer of custom messenger bags, backpacks, computer carrying cases, tote bags, laptop/tablet sleeves and related accessories. Unlike most companies in our line of business, we manufacture our own products in our own factory. We’ve got lots of sewing machines, a webbing cutter, a big laser cutter, and a digital fabric printer — exciting stuff if you’re into tools and equipment. We’re located in the historic Dogpatch neighborhood in San Francisco — a cool little microhood just south of the Giants baseball park, at the foot of Potrero Hill, and adjacent to Pier 70, an old abandoned ship building industrial complex. Here at Rickshaw, we’re passionate about bags. We love designing and making our bags, with our own skilled team and our own machines, under our own roof. We also love city living — the excitement, diversity, creativity and culture we experience in our fast-paced, entrepreneurial, metropolitan environment. With access to art, theater, music and restaurants, there’s an energy that pulses through our community. We design our bags for people who thrive on the urban experience and celebrate the creative spirit.
