I was sitting in my room, guitar in hand, blasting riffs into the void while sipping coffee out of a chipped mug that said “Live Free or Die Trying.” I’d just had yet another debate with someone who thought more rules = more order. Meanwhile, I just wanted to wear something cool that screamed freedom, metal, and zero government interference — and I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I thought: “Why not make it myself?” And just like that, Rock and Relax was born — a tribute to heavy music, rebellious spirit, and the wild, beautiful chaos of voluntary exchange. This shop isn’t just about merch. It’s about message. Every design is a middle finger to tyranny and a fist in the air for self-ownership, voluntaryism, and the sweet, sacred noise of liberty. No central planners. No overlords. No one telling you what color your T-shirt can be. Just you, your choices, and some damn good design with a distortion pedal behind it. I didn’t create Rock and Relax to get rich (though hey, free market’s open). I did it because I believe that expressing your values should feel as badass as a double kick drum solo.
