I want to reflect through my paintings a world of color, pattern, texture, energy. I start with a loose idea or sketch and see where it spontaneously takes me. I don't like to have a painting totally planned out (that takes all the fun out of it) kind of like everyday life. I am drawn to fairies, butterflies, mermaids, flowers, peacocks, cats to name a few. Artists/People that inspire me are Gustav Klimt, Chagall, Blythe Dolls, Audrey Hepburn.
