Growing up as a survivor of abuse, I found great solace in the gentle presence of animals and the tranquil beauty of the outdoors. Eventually that guided me to a relationship with God the Creator of all things, who is the ultimate source of comfort and healing. Making art that reflects my love for God's words and His creation has been a huge part of my healing journey. My art testifies that beauty can come from pain, and sorrow is never wasted.
