TS began studying art when she picked up a crayon and realized it didn’t taste good. Her early artistic endeavors were supported by two wonderful parents who encouraged her by not only supplying her with more beginner art sets than she could ever possibly use, but also by sacrificing their entire coffee table and much of their living room floor to boxes of drawing implements and scattered piles of paper. A variety of art teachers over the years have added the assemblage of skills and techniques that TS now employs. The skill she is most proud of, however, is how to keep learning. Simply watching something and trying it.
