I am a young photographer based in New Mexico. I focus exclusively on showcasing the wonders of the universe. There is nothing quite like looking at a galaxy millions of light years away, knowing that every burst of light is one of billions of stars. Each of those stars can have a planet orbiting it with another creature looking back at our own galaxy and wondering who is there. Or looking at the enormous remnants of an exploded star, and realizing that all of the elements in our galaxy were produced in these catastrophic and brilliant explosions. Or gazing upon the spectacular colors of a nebula where countless stars are being born from dust and gases which will one day become their own star systems capable of harboring life. These pictures of nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, planets, and other celestial objects were all captured by me mostly from my backyard. I don’t reprocess the work of others and showcase it as my own. I hope to be able to use this platform to share the beauty of the universe that is above our heads every night, and maybe encourage some of you to start looking up.
