Street Roots creates income opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and poverty by producing a weekly newspaper and other media that are catalysts for individual and social change. Sales from this store will support the work we do with people experiencing extreme poverty in Portland, Oregon. Individuals (vendors) purchase the paper for $.25 and sell it for $1. Not only do they earn a respectable income but they also build community and make a positive impact.
