What we sell: stuff for kids and babies (and their grownups, too)! Our story: When we were expecting our second kid, things got tough. Suddenly, we were down to one income, and we were already stretched thin to begin with. Then our daughter started showing signs of having a learning disability, and we had to get her diagnosed and get her the tools she needs to succeed in school--things we couldn't afford even when we both had jobs, but stuff we needed to do nonetheless. With a new baby, a 7 month old puppy, an 8 year old, only one income, and despite personal health struggles, I knew that I had to go back to work somehow and also take on a second or third job to help make ends meet. Then it occurred to me: a print on demand design business! When my oldest was a baby, she drooled a LOT...so much that I almost felt like I had to put disclaimers on her pictures saying that babies drool...it happens. That's when I came up with my first idea for a bib/onesie bodysuit. However, no one was selling what I was looking for at the time. I put the idea on the back burner as life went on. Over time, I've thought of many other ideas for clothing for kids and babies, but I hadn't had the guts to open a store...until now, that is. Desperation and a prayer led me to finally take the plunge and let my designs out into the world. I decided to name the store after my kids, and my daughter suggested that our dog be the mascot. My un-broadcasted hobby is now taking flight, and you get to see designs and cartooning that are truly one of a kind because they're designed and drawn by us, Teddy&Mae's!
