The Coastal Society is a non-profit charitable educational organization formed in 1975 in the heyday of environmental legislation designed to preserve and manage national assets like our coasts for all natural and human uses. Today members of The Coastal Society bring attention to emerging coastal and ocean issues through educational activities.
