Thistle_and_Quill

Rooted in my Scottish ancestry and inspired by a lifelong love of all things paper, Thistle and Quill is more than a collection of journals, logbooks, and papercraft. It's a passion project born from the desire to rediscover childlikeness. As a little girl, I escaped into the magical world of all things paper. Stickers, stationery, diaries, journals, and special scraps of paper where I scribbled thoughts or notes. I collected and curated them, organized them, cherished them... There is something special about a fresh canvas to commit thoughts to paper, track growth, or keep a sticker that is too special to use. The thistle is a nod to my roots, a symbol of resilience, beauty and heritage. The quill represents creativity, storytelling, reflection and the simple, almost forgotten pleasure of putting pen to paper. I once read something that stayed with me. It discussed indicators of a "healed” or “whole” adult, and one in particular resonated with me: the ability to reconnect with something that brought them joy or wonder as a child- or perhaps even better, to have never lost that sense in the first place. This is the journey back to reclaim the awe, curiosity, creativity and delight. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. With a wee bit of wonder, T&Q
