Tink Tank Animate exists to assist those on the Autism Spectrum express themselves through the wonderful world of art with a focus on storytelling at the heart of everything. Through New Media aka Digital Arts & Storytelling, the Artist on the Autism Spectrum is given an outlet they connect with on a greater level than most other forms of communication. Their love of Cartoons and making Inanimate Objects move like magic, is not only thrilling to the Autistic Mind, but reflects their daily interests and once given the ability to Animate on their very own, delivers a sense of Value in their Life that helps bring them out of their shells as they communicate with the world on a daily basis. This goes for every Storytelling Medium we work in here at Tink Tank Animate. Although this is not our Focus, it is an additional positive outcome to much of our work at Tink Tank Animate. Through the artist's time at TTA we promote, instruct, and train Artists on the Autism Spectrum how to have Autonomous Skills we call Finishers. Finishers are individuals who are capable of creating an work of Art without the outside assistance of anyone else. This leads to self-satisfaction, which leads to an even greater self-esteem, and if so desired or requested of, could translate the Finishing Skills into Freelance Creators* who could deliver Original Content to the world.
