I am passionate about experiencing and exploring nature. Through exploring nature and photography, I have the opportunity to consider my place and connection to Earth. My work includes a range of subjects including highlighting patterns and details in nature that one may often overlook; portraying the kindred spirit that exists between humans and animals; as well as photographing manmade objects as they impose on nature and the landscape. Each photo connects deeply to a unique personal experience or emotion, ranging from comfort and peace, curiosity and intrigue, to grief and uncertainty. I share my work to inspire and encourage others to look for, recognize, and feel the beauty and details of nature with a new perspective.
