Valerie is a self-taught Flash artist who specializes in artwork ranging from elegant graphic designs for cards to colorful fun images to modern mandalas. She has a passion to create things that will bring a smile to the faces of others. A number of the items in this shop allow you to choose a background color of your own, such as the ties. Because each design has been optimized with a version that looks best on dark shirts and one for light shirts, make sure to choose the light or dark shirt option before clicking to change the style. This will help you find the style you want in the color you want much more easily. Confused by the color or gem choice for your Zodiac sign? In creating these mandalas, Valerie spent some time researching and comparing lists of gemstones and colors commonly associated with each zodiac sign. With no true consensus on these elements, she chose ones that were mentioned in more than one location, that wouldn't repeat a gem or color used by another mandala, and that would look appropriate in the cell shaded style that she uses.
