<b>* The Vegan Lotus symbol is a new trade or service mark logo for identifying 100% vegan products. </b> It combines references to the original Vegan Society 'sunflower logo' with the heritage of Asian traditions, the lotus and the heart chakra (or center), symbolizing the aim for perfect compassion. It is intended primarily for use on product labeling to assist non-native speakers of Asian languages to recognize vegan products and service. It is not meant to indicate any religious nor national interest.
