Sunflowers & Hibiscus for Scallop Shell Decoupage 薄葉紙

These Pretty Sunflowers & Tropical Hibiscus tissue paper sheets are perfect for your next Scallop Shell decoupage project. Each floral arrangement is approximately 3". I cut my tissue paper into squares around each of the floral arrangements. Then I coat the front side with mod-podge, let dry, then coat the back side and let that dry. Once each sheet is completely dry, I mold the tissue paper into or on top of the shell and smooth it out as much as possible. Once it is sort of molded to the shell, I peel back the top section and apply mod-podge to the shell and press the image back onto the shell once again smoothing it out, then I peel back the bottom section of the image and apply the mod-podge to the shell and once again smooth it out. The light coat of mod-podge on each side of the image, gives the tissue paper a bit of protection to help prevent tears and allows you to smooth it out without damaging the image.
