Remember the story of the canaries in the coal mine from way back in the day? The canaries kept miners safe from toxic chemicals/gases by alerting them to the danger. The miners didn't go out and find disabled canaries to alert them, they relied on the exquisite sensory abilities the canries naturally had. If the canaries became ill, passed out, or died, the miners would immediately exit that space to protect their own health. Today’s 'human canaries' can sense the modern toxins/harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) just as clearly, yet their warnings and adverse health effects of exposure go unheard and ignored. Instead of ditching the known toxins, most humans keep adding more and more. This card helps share much needed awAIRness of how improtant it is to listen to the human canaries. They already know.
